The mind creates problems and then judges us for them being there π€―
Something that has deeply changed for me is realising that thoughts and feelings are temporary and fleeting and that problems can only ever exist in my thinking about them.
Trying to solve a problem created by the mind by applying more thinking to it is like trying to lick my elbow. It’s impossible and futile and it gets tiring real quick.
If I can see that I existed before the problem arose and I will exist after it dissolves, then I can see that right here in this moment, I am ok and safe.
I had a coaching conversation and the person I was speaking to really slowed down to this Truth.
They came with some thought-created problems and during our conversation, I asked them: ‘Where are your problems now?’
And they replied: ‘They don’t exist right now.’
The past and the future cannot exist in the present unless we attach meaning to them in this moment π«
Deeply coming back to this Truth, has freed me from so much of what I made the past mean and so much of the supposed expectations of the future.
All there is, is NOW π€
