How to Experience Anxiety Regularly and Still Thrive

I can experience anxiety regularly and still thrive šŸ’›šŸ’›šŸ’›

I used to experience crippling anxiety.

It stopped me from experiencing joy.

It stopped me from having fun.

It stopped me from engaging with loved ones.

It stopped me from creating impact and income in my business.

It stopped me from being me.

I still experience anxiety.

I have an amazing relationship with my husband.

I show up with my family and friends.

I have a thriving coaching business.

I do what I love every day.

I have conversations with interesting people every day.

I am being more authentically me than I’ve ever been before.

One thing I have learned is that what I feel is not an indicator of my ability to create the life I want. I can still be a great coach and be in service to others, and experience anxiety.

All the anxiety is pointing me in the direction of, is that there is some unchallenged thought present that isn’t actually true.

When I’m deeply in service (being there for others, having coaching conversations), the anxiety always disappears. Because the focus comes away from my’self’ and is redirected to the person in front of me.

When I am in service, it’s no longer about me.

When I am in service, there is no ā€˜self’ for the anxiety to cling to.

When I am in service, whatever thinking I was attaching to dissipates.

It dissipates because the focus isn’t placed on the feelings I’m experiencing.

My coach, Sachin Sharma, calls taking action based on how you feel, ā€˜checking your emotional temperature.’

If I checked in with my emotions and only ever took action when I felt ā€˜good,’ I wouldn’t do anything.

I used to do that, and I spent 4 months off sick from work. It was the lowest point of my life 😢

Knowing that I can act independently of thought and feeling has changed the game for me. Thoughts and feelings are always fleeting and changing. When I try to control them, I become consumed with a game I can’t win.

Instead of dismissing the anxiety, judging myself for experiencing it, or feeling bad for feeling it, I accept that it is present and choose to love myself. Trying to change the feeling only creates greater resistance and perpetuates the experience.

Allowing it to be present and loving what is, has it passed just like thought and feeling naturally does. 🄰

I now use the coaching I receive to return back to the Truth, that I am not my thoughts or feelings. I am unconditional love at my core.

Any temporary feeling we might be experiencing is dissolved by the powerful wisdom that we all hold within ourselves.

Being ok with what is, frees me up to take action and be an active participant in the game of life, not a bystander crippled by anxiety.

Knowing that I am infinite wisdom and that experiencing anxiety isn’t something that can stop me, I am free to create what I want in my life.

Seeing beyond thought and feeling has allowed me to become the Creator of my life.

Thank you Sachin for helping me to see this in myself.
