The identity I had created around money had me underearning for years.
I used to be someone that believed that:
- Money is hard to create
- Money is evil and too much of it will make me evil
- People that want money become greedy
- I am not materialistic so I shouldn’t want money
- People that have lots of money are self obsessed
- I need to be careful with money and make sure I save it
- I only need enough money to lead a comfortable life
- Having more money means having too much responsibility
This was my operating system for money, an operating system that I was completely unconscious to.
Operating from these beliefs put a MASSIVE ceiling on my income. This operating system felt so real to me, that it in my world, everything I believed about money was true.
The more I looked in the direction of money, I realised that we ALL have a relationship with money. Just like I have a relationship with my husband.
I had been treating money as if it was a husband that I was expecting to give me endless attention, whilst I was simultaneously being standoffish to him.
Uncovering my relationship to money and dispelling what I used to believe was true has been deeply life-altering.
I have been cultivating and creating a new relationship with money that is altering my reality completely.
I am that money is an exchange of energy.
I am that money is sacred.
I am a conduit for millions of pounds to flow to me so that I can use it for creating greater impact.
I am that money is a vehicle for my purpose of serving humanity to be realised in its highest impact.
I am that creating money is fun and effortless.
The results of this identity shift around money means that I have created my total 2023 revenue within the first 4 months of 2024.
One of the most important areas in entrepreneurship, that cannot be ignored, is our relationship to money.
